Enhanced NHS Eye Examinations include a 3D Scan of the Retina and Optic Nerve and a longer appointment time. The NHS tests below are only applicable for adults aged 60 and over, those with diabetes or glaucoma, or a parent, sibling or child with glaucoma, for children 16 years and under, young adults in full time education aged 16, 17 or 18 or those on income support, family credit, universal credit or pension credit, or with a valid HC2 certificate.

We believe that whether you are a private patient or qualify for NHS help, you should have the most complete and comprehensive eye examination available. We recommend an extended eye examination so that our optometrist can spend more time with you. During an extended eye examination we can give our patients the appropriate care and attention with full advice on lens options available. The NHS may not cover the cost of some of our procedures.
